I feel really fortunate to have worked with Jacklynne! I learned a lot about myself and ways to cope. I did sessions with Jacklynne for about a year and a half after going through a difficult life event. After speaking to several therapists, I knew she was the perfect fit. I've been seeing Jacklynne for about a year and a half and I am so unbelievably grateful for her. I first came to her in the immediate aftermath of a huge life change. I was so dysregulated and anxious at the time in a way that was deeply connected to childhood. Working with Jacklynne has changed my life for the better and in all the ways I wanted it to change. Before meeting Jacklynne, I struggled silently for decades. I believed that if I spoke about my fears and anxieties that it would make them “real”… so I buried them deep down, lived behind a smiling mask, and continued a pattern of self sabotage over and over. From the very first session with Jacklynne, I knew I was in a safe place. I knew I could speak freely and I didn’t feel judged. She is so fully engaged and attentive. She paid close attention to not only what I was saying, but how my body was trying to communicate. She taught me how to check in with the cues my body and my nervous system were giving me. I was immediately impressed by the thoughtful and incisive questions Jacklynne asked. She has a kind presence and I felt very comfortable sharing with her. I've been working with Jacklynne for a little over a year now and my experience has been very positive. Jacklynne is great at asking the right questions and giving you space to figure things out on your own. I had never been in therapy before working with Jacklynne and I feel very lucky the two of us have worked together! She is thoughtful, intentional, and perceptive. I have learned a lot about how to recognize when my anxiety is creeping in and how to handle it better when it does manifest itself. She asks very thoughtful questions that help me process my experiences; I feel listened to because she asks questions based on things we talked about in previous sessions. Together, she has given me tools like visualization or mantras to help work through past trauma. I am so glad to have worked with Jacklynne!
